Ticket Information

Children

Each escort pays reduced price for ticket (%).
2 children per escort ride free.
Each additional pair of children pays one single ticket and each additional single child pays the reduced single ticket price.

For min. 10 school children in one bus or tram on the same route, 2 escorts are free.
For the school children, the standard rates are applicable.

SL-Ticket is valid for trip to school or to apprenticed place of work, and back.
Can be used with monthly “Surcharge Ticket Innsbruck all-inclusive” also for free time and school vacations.
Simply fill out application form for required transportation companies and present at IVB Customer Center.

Available for all school children under age 19 who have no SL Ticket and attend a public school in Austria or a private school under public law.
Valid from 13:00 o'clock on all IVB lines in Innsbruck (core zone) inc. Nightliner and Hungerburgbahn.
Valid on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and on school vacations (Christmas, Semester, Easter and summer vacations) all day long.

Travelling without a valid ticket will incur a fine of at least € 55.00. Should this fine not be paid within 3 days, the charge will rise to € 65.00.
"Customers with a personalised ticket (issued in their name, such as a 6-month ticket, student ticket, senior ticket or job ticket; does not apply to transferable tickets) can from the next business day report to the IVB Customer Service Centre with the payment slip, the ticket and a photo ID. If the information is correct, instead of a surcharge, a processing fee of currently € 10.00 is payable."

Bike, pet, children’s pram or stroller, luggage (in accordance with terms of travel) can be taken along free of charge.
